As we start this new school year there are many things that will help each student:
3.) Completion of work
5.) BE ORGANIZED!!!!!
Educational support supplies:
* a spiral notebook (70 pages is acceptable)
* a composition book
* two pencils with eraser
* two pens (blue or black ink only) and a highlighter
How manyof you tell your parents or even a teacher that you are 'bored'? Reading will cure you of that boredom! Learn about a new country, explore space and beyond, solve a crime, and so much more. Have you ever had a HERO? Check out the books in the Library and see if your HERO is there to read about. Gas may be expensive but traveling through reading is FREE!
Words of Encouragemnt
WELCOME TO A NEW YEAR! NEW AND EXCITING ADVENTURES TO PARTICIPATE IN!
Do not become complacent, strive for what you want.
Never loose sight of your goals!
You are the painter and your future is your canvas...
What will you paint?
Welcome to English!
This is an exciting program to build reading and writing skills. Our goal is that each student grow in there vocabulary, reading fluency and comprehension and also their writing achievements. We are already off to a wonderful start and I know that each student is ready to flourish.
At home I ask each student to READ....start with the newspaper or magazines then build to a book that will engage them and keep them interested.
Just because we speak English some people assume we know enough, please approach this class with the idea that "I will and need to learn more about this language". How to better communicate both in oral and written form will distinguish you has a peron who cares and is willing to give an extra mile in all that you do, this truly is the TRAINING GROUND for what you choose for your future.
